This class has a dual focus: aiming to encourage creativity in writing as well as honing accuracy. Students will be encouraged to consider the effects created by their choice of language as well as structural features in their writing. The emphasis of the lessons will be on effect for impact. They will also explore a range of writing purposes including: narrative and descriptive writing as well as argument.
They will use extracts from narratives, articles and poems as models – analyzing the effects created by writers- with special emphasis on poetry which lends itself to creativity.
This class is aimed at students aged 10-14.
Total Course Cost: £280 {35 one hour lessons at £8 each}

This class is covered by a regular payment every month.
Subscription: A one off admin fee of £30 per family will be added to your first payment of each academic year.
Payments begin on 1st October 2025 for 8 months.* **
Payments are made on 1st of each month.
*Courses of 8 or 12 weeks are paid over 2 or 3 months respectively.
** A Level 2 year courses are paid over 12 consecutive months.
