This is a one-year course designed to prepare students for the Edexcel International GCSE in Human Biology, with exams scheduled for Summer 2026.
This course delves into the human body’s functions, from cellular processes to whole systems, including energy production, inheritance, brain function, and sensory perception.
Gain insights into how body systems work together and understand the effects of diseases and malfunctions.
Human Biology covers:
The human body systems: skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, circulatory, excretory, respiratory, digestive and reproductive.
Cells and cell division, homeostasis, DNA and inheritance plus diseases of the human body
Teaching and Learning:
Zoom Sessions: Weekly two-hour classes.
Google Classroom: Notes, homework, and feedback.
Homework: Regular assignments plus around 3 hours per week for independent study.
Required Materials:
Supplies: Pen, paper
Technology: Computer or tablet with internet access
Course Cost: £696 (58 hours of teaching @£12 per hour)

This class is covered by a regular payment every month.
Subscription: A one off admin fee of £30 per family will be added to your first payment of each academic year.
Payments begin on 1st October 2025 for 8 months.* **
Payments are made on 1st of each month.
*Courses of 8 or 12 weeks are paid over 2 or 3 months respectively.
** A Level 2 year courses are paid over 12 consecutive months.
