This 6-week pre-GCSE Spanish course is designed for students who are considering starting their GCSE Spanish course or who would benefit from strengthening their foundations before beginning exam-level study.

The course focuses on developing the core skills required for GCSE Spanish: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Students will visit and practise key topic areas commonly found in
the GCSE curriculum, such as self, family and friends; life at school and home; holidays and travelling; environment; and plans for the future (university/jobs and professions)

Special attention will be given to assessing, reinforcing, and/or building accurate grammar, expanding vocabulary, and improving confidence in speaking and writing. The course will also introduce students to typical GCSE-style tasks to help them feel prepared and motivated before starting their exam course.
