Course Objective:
This course follows on from year 1 and is aimed at students in Years 7 to 9 and is designed to build and enhance their foundational Maths skills as well as their problem-solving abilities. It covers essential areas including Number, Algebra, Ratio, Geometry, and Probability and Statistics.
By utilizing a variety of resources, the course offers a comprehensive approach to learning without relying on a single textbook.
Students will be equipped with the skills needed for future mathematical studies and exam preparation.
Course Description:
The course provides an in-depth exploration of core mathematical concepts tailored to students in Years 7 to 9. It focuses on developing fundamental Maths skills and problem-solving techniques across various topics:

Ratio
Geometry
Probability and Statistics

Homework:
Homework is crucial for reinforcing learning and preparing for exams.
Parents should allocate two additional 45-minute time slots per week:
One slot for completing assigned homework.
One slot for general Maths revision.

This class is covered by a regular payment every month.
Subscription: An admin fee of £30 per family will be added to your first payment of each academic year.
Payments begin on 1st September 2026 for 8 months.* **

*Courses of 12 weeks are paid over 3 months.
** A Level 2 year courses are paid over 12 consecutive months.
